A JMS resource group is a resource adapter module that binds together the related connection factories, queues and topics. To create and access JMS resources such as queues, topics and connection factories in Geronimo, you have to create a JMS resource group.

To configure JMS, the JMS Resources portlet is available on the Geronimo Administration Console. Select the link Services > JMS Resources. The portlet lists the ActiveMQ resource adapters which can be of type Connection Factory or Queue.

You can create a new JMS resource group for either ActiveMQ or another JMS provider using ActiveMQ wizard or a specific deployment plan. To manage messages in a Queue, click Browse, Send and Purge links.
