Apache Geronimo Board Report

Apache Geronimo is an open source server runtime that integrates the best open source projects to create Java/OSGi server runtimes that meet the needs of enterprise developers and system administrators.

The community has generated multiple releases in the past 3 months. Most significantly, the community released Geronimo Server 3.0.1.

Releases

  • geronimo-tomcat 7.0.39.1 and 7.0.39.2 (May),
  • Geronimo Server 3.0.1 (May),
  • xbean 3.14 (June), and
  • Geronimo Eclipse Plugin 3.0.1 (June)

JUGs and Conferences

Community

The current PMC chair (Kevan Miller) informed the PMC that he wished to step down as chair of the Geronimo PMC. The community voted to recommend to the board that Jarek Gawor be appointed as the new chair of the Geronimo PMC.

New PMC Members

No new PMC members. The last new PMC member was added in March, 2013.

New Committers

No new committers. The last new committer was added in March, 2013.

Security

CVE-2013-1777 was announced on July 1st.
