Apache Geronimo v3.0.1 - Released May 28, 2012
Apache Geronimo v3.0.1 release contains bug fixes, security fixes and component upgrades. See the Apache Geronimo v3.0.1 Release Notes for more details. Only Tomcat-based assemblies are part of this release. The Geronimo v3.0.1 release also adds Java 7 support.

Little-G
Following distributions include a Web container and a subset of other modules of Geronimo. They are not a Java EE 6 compliant server and is appealing for users that desire a smaller footprint with specific functionality.
Framework
Following distributions offer just a framework for you to build up your own custom Geronimo server based on the available plugins. Unlike Little-G, this distribution does not include a web container, it only provides the bare minimum support for installing plugins.
